Danny's .02:

1. A new era of the Run game
I've been reading a lot about how the 'Hawks run game is worse than it's been in the Carroll era... I tend to think this is partially by design after last years late passing game success and partially because when we are in that mode normally Russ is mobile enough to gain yardage on the ground. That being said... I would like to see C-Mike get a full 20-25 carries in addition to some runs by Spiller/Prosise

2. Strong Side LB
Morgan and KPL are both out now so we now move to 3rd string. I anticipate we'll see a lot of nickel D with Lane getting tons of snaps.

3. Snap Peas
I continue to feel like our crap long snapper is going to cost us dearly and he continues to have bad snaps every game.... :banghead:

4. The only slightly gimpy pass-rush
Bennett practiced all week on that whacked knee and Clark is a go on his hamstring, neither injury sounds like a good thing though considering we are already thin on fast lb's in the edge contain game and pass attack. I hope Cliff Avril is ready to be the man.

5. Xman of the game prediction:
Earl Thomas- he'll likely need to be with the ageless wonder of Larry Fitzgerald still out there making big catches.

Predictions-
Seattle 17 Cardinals 14

The best thing so far is that despite absolutely no offense the team is only down 3-0. The bad is that despite a great defensive perormance the team is down 3-0

Craziest Seahawk game I've ever witnessed. When Haus missed that kick I almost fainted. Good lord!

Joe Thomas would look awfully good at LT.

My Co-MVP's this week are Avril & Wags. Both guys were flat out studs. Avril was wrecking havoc on their RT & consistently was getting pressure on Palmer throughout the game. Bobby was just as huge. The special teams plays were great. But, his play on D was even better. His game saving tackle on David Johnson at the goal line in OT was the play of the game. It's just a shame we didn't capitalize on their performance. To have the game be that lopsided as far as yards & time of possession & still not be handed a loss, it really was almost a herculean effort.

KJ Wright really showed up for me, as well. Lane had kind of a crap game, but I think he was out there more snaps due to the lack of healthy LBs.

Joe Staley would cost half as much as Thomas actually... Not sure if the niners would help us but hawk blogger thinks so
