Danny's .02: brought to you this week by tons of Pro Football Focus
1. Playoff Spirit
The Rams have a tough schedule and we have a brutalized roster. Getting a W here and hoping the Saints drub the Rams could help ease some of the pain and focus the team of up next men.
2. Running is back?
I suppose it was for a half with Mike Davis, but the fact that our practice squad player was the best rb we had is not a good sign. Lacey showed a little something early two weeks ago before getting hurt, but yeesh. We aren't geared for playoffs if we can't establish a guy here and now.
3. Pete's walking papers
The boards are lit up with fire Pete cat calls. Blaming Pete for an offensive line philosophy, blaming Pete for some really bad play decisions in big moments, all fair. However, I don't think this fan base remembers how long we struggled without Pete and how hard it is to replace him. Further more, his system is rookie friendly and can make big leaps any year after a year like this where your stars stat to fade. Holmgrens system took years to learn as a player in contrast. Unless Gruden is having convos with Paul Allen, be careful what you wish for.
3. Walsh
can't be fired soon enough for me
