1. OL
It's not a game thread until we talk about what is wrong/right with the line. Let's hope that a heavy dose of Brown and burning sage over Cable's fart riddled office equals great success this year. Concerning to me that Fluker is not able to stay healthy because he's clearly a run beast.

2. 2nd.. ary
Minus Maxwell and Earl it's fair to ask what we are getting with this years secondary. I like McDougald and Shaq, I am hoping the Tedric hype is semi real, but I'd feel better if Earl were playing and I still don't see a clear line of success this early in the season for rookie prospects like Flowers.

Edit: Now that Earl's back the big question is how does he look? If he comes out on fire, does this prompt the cowboys offer and we still move him or do we then want to keep him?

3. Carson
The hype train has smiled upon Chris Carson, who looks fit as a fiddle. The Stevie Wonder in me is very superstitious and feels like the journalistic love will end badly after a few snaps, so... Penny.

3. Special Teams
Janikowski who knows... I feel like he's an upgrade to Walsh but damn... Dan Bailey is out there.
Dickson... pretty much the messiah... except his holds that are probably complicating SeaBass's life.

4. X-factor
Hard to pick Poona with the heavy depth chart, Green is a great candidate here, but I'm going to say we see the best and worst rookie aspects from x-factor Shaquem Griffin including a big forced turnover.

Unfortunately all I can picture is Germain Ifedi trying to block Von Miller. Yeah...I wouldn't have a problem if Pete decided to sit Russ this week.

I think we're destined to start out 0-2. Having to face Miller & then Mack is a tough draw.

Having looked at the schedule, this team could easily be 1-3 or 1-4.

Btw, I have us finishing 7-9/8-8.
