Saints
Danny's .02:
1. Ansahs debut
For real this time.... he should play... probably
2. Very Offensive Line
Fluker is gimpy but might play. His backup looks unlikely to play for a line that has been very inconsistent, and the Saints are one of the best pass rush teams in the league. Also we should have canned Ifedi years ago. Good luck Russ.
3. Metcalf
All year X-factor so far. He needs to keep it clean but then Bo Jackson some fools this game.
4. X-factor
with the Penny late injury, I'm going Dickson pinning the saints back where Ziggy and Clowney can attack.
Predictions-
Seattle 28 Saints 24

Re: Game 3: Seahawks vs Saints
We need to stack in the box all game. Keep a constant eye on Kamara and force Bridgewater to beat us down field. If We can do that and stop penalizing ourselves up the backside, this should be a double digit victory if we maintain the quick passing game from last week and neutralize that rush.

The entire team including the coaching staff should donate their salaries this week to charity.

That was fairly f'd up without shaking my confidence. So many mistakes. We need jaron back and I think penny needs to become the starter once healthy.
I would try to trade for the best avail RT asap as well

The not using time outs thing at the end of the first half really pisses me off.

This team is so enigmatic, I’ve been watching religiously for more than a decade and I still don’t know what I am seeing week to week.
This is going to be a team that struggles to get out of its own way all season long, and I really don’t know how up for it I am

A classic Pete Carroll team.
I just don't see it changing, without a coaching change. Both good/bad. Why should we expect anything different at this stage?
I've been watching & following this team since the late 90's. We've had a good run since then. But, it always comes down to coaching in the end. Under Mike Holmgren, the team was rarely if ever this undisciplined on a weekly basis. In regards to dumb penalties, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I love Pete. I'm grateful for all the success that he's brought. He's been a damn good coach. But, sometimes you have to adapt to new things. Like having a more modern approach (Offensive). While I love what he brings, some of his hires (coaches) have been kinda bizarre & at times, have held the team back (Keeping Cable), bringing in Brian Schottenheimer, who kind of has a reputation as a re-tread, with a mediocre resume.
How would Russ perform with someone like Lincoln Riley?
