It's officially the offseason!

This is intended for everything Non-Draft related.

Free Agency, Coaching changes, specific moves, etc. All that Jazz.

You got a crazy idea to get off your chest? Spill it.

Writeup on Seahawks Free agents of all types:

https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/seahawks/analysis-where-things-stand-with-seahawks-free-agents/

My no-brainer keep list:
Igwebuike
Neal
Muse
Myles Aadams
Michael Jackson

I didn't realize Poona was a FA... report is Big Al Woods is coming back, but we basically need to reinvent the DT rotation.
I would try to keep Poona, but I think we'll need a guy like Siaki Ika or Mazi Smith in addition to praying QB trades someone have Carter slip to 5 and start looking at this FA list of big guys: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2023-nfl-free-agents-by-position/

Neal should get some nice offers on the market. He's an absolute must keep!

Curious to see what they do with Jackson. He was fairly productive.

I think Poona is out. Lots of movement on that front.

If Blythe is brought back he should not be guaranteed a starting spot. They obviously should look to draft someone.

Do they bring back Penny?

Edit: Apparently Neal is an RFA. So that's good I guess?

On Jackson he's got a great contract clause where all we have to do is tender him and he's signed for that low dollar price.

would you consider bringing 30yr old Jarran Reed back?

The problem is that they lacked the personnel/talent to fit the scheme. That has to be the priority this offseason.

They really need to acquire a stud edge player this offseason. Will Anderson or Myles Murphy?

I don't know if he would necessarily be a fit for the scheme. Plus there are some good IDL in this draft they might target.

At least he acknowledges the problem.

Sounds like they want to keep Poona.

Myles Murphy is looking like the early likelihood for us at 5 unless QB mania allows Anderson/Carter to be around.
I'm still a sucker for Siaka Ika's size early second, but I think we need to look at FA options considering we only have Al Woods signed right now.

Extend Uchena... he's trending the right way and we need that cap.

Safe to say Corbin is unlikely to pick O'Cyrus Torrence as a draft target based on this writeup which i know you have mentioned as well for guards in zone schemes.
