I think cutting Jamal is pretty much a given at this point. I'd be somewhat surprised if they brought Diggs back.

Yeah paying for Williams and Lewis will need some of that as much as Lockett bums me out.

Yeah, that was pretty much a given when he had his roster bonus converted to a signing bonus (cap savings).
The team would take on a significant dead cap charge if they we're to move him this offseason.
I think it's pretty clear their preference is to draft a guy & have him sit behind Geno. Penix is the most logical.

$24M total this year. Which should push them close to $40M in cap space.

Patrick Queen incoming and hopefully something like Colson JR and Brooks if we can afford it.
I'm hoping we keep Brooks & Lewis. I like the DT class in the draft in the 2nd if we can slide back to the end of the first and get a 2nd out of it, I think Jenkins, Leonard, Fisk, or Sweat would all be starting young DTs. Sounds like John wants Leo back but that might be a spicey signing vs value.

Lewis is a definite no for me. He'll probably get like $8-10m on the market. Not worth it imo. He's league average at best. That money could go to other area's of need.
Leonard Williams is really the only FA at the moment that I think is a necessity to bring back tbh.
