the Milroe talk is a little overhyped imo but hopefully it lights a fire under Sam.

Milroe is a project. Hopefully they fix his lower body mechanics & he improves his footwork. That would improve his accuracy. But he has potential. Definitely a lottery ticket.

Btw, this draft feels so much like a Ravens draft.
Emmanwori= Hamilton
Milroe= Poor man's Lamar
Zabel= Linderbaum/Raven type lineman
Mike definitely has a vision for the team lol.

JS followed the coach's playbook evidently because I thought pick 50 was going to be Ratledge... clearly passing on him for Arroyo will be a Kubiak pick and and discussion going fwd for better or worse. Klint had some juice.
I mean he knew he had to pick an O-lineman asap to keep his job and then he went back to Mike and Klint guys.

I thought they would take a WR (Noel) or Jared Wilson at pick 50. But Arroyo made a ton of sense with Kubiak. I thought he was the 3rd best TE prospect behind Loveland & Warren. The only reason he fell was due to the medical.
I knew they liked Milroe. But I wasn't convinced he would last that long.

Arroyo looks like he has some dog that Fant doesn't in those shots. He's definitely a talker already. Looking forward to what he might bring and maybe between Sam and several of these guys... and end to the red zone blues.

They'll be a better redzone team just based on the scheme alone. It not looking like a college offense.
Arroyo will be a matchup problem as a receiving threat (Speed) that they can exploit. They're likely not going to run a ton of 3WR sets. More 2TE & 2RB's (w/a fullback). Could see a lot of Charbonnet & Walker as a duo.
I don't think they're going to be great offensively (outside top 10). But just the OC change alone will make a difference. I also think the defense could end up being really good (top 5 potentially). Given Mike's reputation. The defense was 4th best among teams in the second half of the season.

I'm fine as long as the matriculate and convert when they are in range.
