I know a bunch of people were wondering why a CB with our first pick in the draft. Then I thought to myself, we've SUCKED on returns for the better part of the last 5-6 years.
Is this the reason why Ruskell went after this guy? Did Ruskell want us to finally start our offense with better filed position than we've had to endure in the past?
Wilson supposedly is a great return guy, with real breakaway speed. I'll be interested to see how much of their intent in picking him up was to fill this void.

Well, I liked Burleson in that role last year. He averaged 24.7 yards on kicks and 9.5 yards on kicks, while not showing a tendency towards coughing up the ball.
Can Wilson do better than that? He may have more speed and elusiveness, but he also fumbled five times while return kicks last year. Is the potential increase in yardage worth the threat of handing the ball over deep in our own territory?
