Also Brice Fisher was sent to the titans. Good move? You decide!

No idea why they traded Fisher. Why'd they bother to acquire Jason Babin? Why not just keep Fisher? Maybe Darryl Tapp won the starting job and will keep it for years to come, but isn't depth a good thing? Hasn't Fisher been a quality player for them over the last couple of years? Or is he declining at age 30?

I just hope they got a decent draft pick in the exchange. It should be a higher pick than they gave up for Frye; if not, I'm not gonna be happy.

It has been reported that Seattle sent out a 6th round pick for Frye. I think that this means more pt for Wallace at receiver/returner.

I think Fisher is declining. His numbers started to suffer last year, and I can see the team thinking it might be best to sell now instead of holding on to him too long. Also might be a situation where he simply wasn't going to get an opportunity to play much so they moved him to a place where he could do so. He seemed like the type who would be fine with whatever role he was given, however.

More than anything else, I think it's a vote of confidence for a steadily improving Baraka Atkins who should see a bump in minutes. I could see Babins and Wyms providing decent enough depth as well.

I've heard 4th for Fisher and 6th for Frye...but who knows?

I don't mind the idea of adding Frye. He's been horrible, but that Browns team is ass. Zorn and Holmgren know what they're doing. Hell, even Seneca Wallace ended up being more serviceable as a QB than I ever expected he would.

Matt Hasselbeck wasn't exactly a popular player before being traded to Seattle...

Excellent trade, IMO.

Frye was bad in Week 1, though a lot of that was due to bad blocking. I heard Joe Thomas in particular was a disaster. Frye will never set the world on fire but I think if you surround him with a decent offense he can be at least a Dilfer-esque backup. I think he's well worth a 6th-round pick.
