Game Thread: Seattle Seahawks @ Philadelphia Eagles

Good news, everyone, there's no need to worry about whether or not we'll win this game as earlier in the week it was announced that Shaun Alexander, your hero and mine, would be back as the starting RB. There's no need to the Eagles to even take the field.
Does a win solidify the 'Hawks as the 3rd best team in the division right now? Certainly preferable to what I thought of this team about a month ago...

You mean conference?
Everybody seems to be penciling in Tampa as the #3 team in the NFC... they seem to forget that the Hawks waxed Tampa's ass in the season opener.

This would be a huge win for us in terms of psychology, IMO. They win this game, they could run the table.
GO SEAHAWKS!!!

Uhhh...maybe. I'm (Please Use More Appropriate Word).
Lofa's awesome, and while I missed Shaun's first two runs (and a TD) the one I did see was him dancing behind the line and getting tackled for a loss.

That long pass to Curtis was the result of inexcusable coverage by Trufant. Every high school player knows, if you're going for the interception you still have to position yourself to make the tackle. Trufant didn't, and there was no safety behind him. That kind of play should have earned him a spot on the sideline for the rest of the game.

Josh has got to shake out of this slump...like now. We all know he's better than he's been lately.

We should just let other teams start their drives on the 1 yard line.

He's proving why it doesn't make sense to give a hell of a lot of money to a kicker.

That was a great 4 down stand. Wow.

Alexander just keeps getting smaller and smaller in the rear view mirror.
Great run.

Then SA rips off two 10 yard runs on the outside. The blocking's there, but he's also not hesitating.

WHY? wasn't that pass interference on that 3rd down play? The guy was clearly hanging all over him before the ball got there.

Boy that announcer had it right about the Seahawks. They are seemingly incapable of delivering the knockout punch. They consistently keep teams hanging around with a chance to win.

Now here's the chance after that interception. Deliver the BIG BLOW NOW!
