Way uncool, Bobby

From the wiretap.

Okay, maybe my subject line is unfair. Since the team has the right to ditch overpaid players, underpaid players should have the right to hold out for more. I get it. But still... in this offseason surrounded by good vibes, where four defensive players restructured their deals so Lofa could sign; where Lofa took a below-market deal so Trufant could sign; where Trufant fell in line and signed for less than DeAngelo Hall (who isn't as good as Trufant and whose contract hadn't even expired); where the people who didn't want to be here (Brown, Hackett) left and were replaced by people who were genuinely excited to be Seahawks (J.Jones, Wahle); and where even good ol' Pork Chop Womack came back... it just seems like kind of a bummer.

I just hope they resolve this quickly. Engram is on the short list of people we should really, really admire as fans of this team.

Yeah, it's a tough call...most teams would've just cut bait when Engram had the medical issues he did. He appeared finished, and the team stuck with him. And now he wants more money...

I think Engram's deserving of a reasonable extension and perhaps a pay raise, but skipping voluntary workouts isn't something I approve of.
