Well done Seahawks. It's not impossible you are out of the running with 9 games left. It's just not at all likely. Some are clamoring for the tankeroo, some (me) say don't breed a losing culture and go after wins.

Well, the Lions are in town, which begs the question is it more embarrassing to lose to the Lions or Raiders? Anyone, Anyone? Seattle is favored, so bad news for the all tank party.

Injury update:

Seahawks-
Walt Jones(LT) done for the season, Frye(LT) out for season with a neck injury, Tutupu likely done for the season with a torn pectoral muscle. Locklear(RT) practiced but is doubtful with the worlds worst sprained ankle.

Detroit
Kevin Smith(rb) Questionable

Things to Watch:

1-Louis Rankin. 1 preseason game vs the Raiders has me convinced he's our best running back. Prove me right Lou.

2-Mora's demeanor. Firey, mellow, or Fire-able?

3-Aaron Curry watch. He needs a big game for lots of reasons. He'll be good, but we want more from a guy who trails 3 other rookie linebackers for the title of best rookie linebacker.

Predictions-

Seattle 17 Lions 6

I was there, and couldn't believe how bad we looked at the beginning. It was a win, but it didn't tell us much. Hass was throwing short passes like he was...Seneca Wallace. And the defense played well, but there was a point where Stafford got rattled and he just wasn't going to turn it around.

ok Rankin was good on returns by the numbers... but why still do we not give him and forsett some carries? Julius sux
