Our new GM announced: John Schneider

It's been announced. Reese is out and Schneider is in from Green Bay.

He's much younger and has had some nice drafts. Evidently he likes to trade down for more picks and isn't overly active on free agents, though the FA thing could really be the Green Bay GM's doing.

I would guess 6 might be up for grabs depending on who might slip that we can't live without (Okung/Clausen).

I'm glad it's not Reese...he seemed like a bit of a blowhard. Schneider was my second favorite choice amongst the remaining candidates.
