This will be the year Goff should be judged on being a bust or not, all the player additions and coaching moves the Rams have made thus far are to give Goff a better chance at succeeding in the NFL. No excuses for Goff now, it's do or die.

QB of the Future?

Post#4 » by Ranma » Wed Aug 23, 2017 8:42 pm

I preferred Carson Wentz at the time of the draft but was moved to be on the fence between the two. I'm actually more interested in Josh Rosen, Sam Arnold, and Josh Allen in the 2018 NFL Draft.

I have a feeling if Goff doesn't produce this year (i hope he does), they will go after Kirk Cousins next year. I think he would love to move west and play for McVay again or maybe even in SF with Sanahan.

Goff Over McVay

I'd rather stick with Goff than go after Cousins, to be honest, despite the fact that Cousins is the safer option. His contract demands would be too much to handle when we're still trying to sign Donald to a contract extension.

True, hopefully we won't have to and Goff becomes a good QB on a cheaper contract. The cap room on this team will be crippled once all the young studs are re-signed including Donald, Ogletree, Quinn, Gurley and Sammy among others.
