Re: Titans Free Agents
Sup guys, Niners fan here. I watch a good amount of football and B jones doesnt ring a bell to me. Why would the Niners give that kind of $ you think? Mainly i want to know what you guys think about him besides fairly injury prone his first 4years. thanks

With Jimmy at the 2 spot this lineup (along with depth) has the potential to be the best since the Jordan/Pippen days easy.

Re: Titans Free Agents
With Jones, the 49ers are getting a third option WR who can be a solid player when healthy. He's a decent runner who can get open on the field. Depending on the the opponents cover defense that is. He's solid when it comes to catching the ball in the field as well. I'm not familiar with the 49ers QB situation. Hopefully he has a good enough mechanics in his arm to make the aerial game sufficient enough to keep his WR core consistant.

Re: Titans Free Agents
Thanks for the info. I read something saying he runs a 4.3 and is a down field WR. To bad the Niners dont have a QB to go vertical.

Re: Titans Free Agents
I believe the run part is right. If what you said is true on the QB can't go vertical, that's a potential wrench in the plans already. The 49ers need to address that with their current QB during the offseason.

The agent for restricted free agent cornerback Jarrett Bush appears hopeful that an offer sheet with the Tennessee Titans could be executed soon for his client.
“We are still talking and expecting something in writing soon,” agent Derrick Fox said.
Bush could help the Titans replenish lost depth in the secondary caused by Eric King’s defection to the Detroit Lions and the unlikely return of fellow cornerbacks Reynaldo Hill and Tyrone Poole to Tennessee.
The Titans are also still waiting to see whether or not Chris Carr will return to the team. Carr has had visits with Detroit, Cleveland and New England, but the Titans are still interested in retaining him in part because of his return skills.
Bush, was tendered at the lowest level for a restricted free agent at $1.01 million. Since Bush entered the league as an undrafted free agent, the Titans would not owe the Packers any compensation if they signed Bush to an offer sheet and Green Bay chose not to match.
The Titans also have interest in unrestricted free agent cornerbacks Justin Miller and Eric Green, both of whom visited last week.

Titans add WR/return specialist Mark Jones
The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with Mark Jones, an unrestricted free agent wide receiver and return specialist from the Carolina Panthers.
Jones, a former Tennessee Volunteer, has five previous years of NFL experience, including one season with the New York Giants (2004), three campaigns with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2005-07) and one with the Panthers (2008). He also spent training camp in 2008 with the San Diego Chargers.
Jones (5-9, 185) has played in 59 career regular season games. His statistics include 156 punt returns for 1,460 yards, an average of 9.4 yards per attempt, and he also boasts a 24.2-yard average (1,405 yards) on 58 career kickoff returns.

Something about the Capital city area that just makes them sign Titans players...
Rolle, Mason, Williams, Hayensworth, and I'm pretty sure I've missed a couple more...
