Tracking The 2008 Offseason

...watching everyone trade for and sign players while we sit back and watch everyone go. We have the most money to spend and we arn't using it. Not too happy, doesn't look like the FO is telling their fans they are committed to winning a championship. Im very disapointed.

SARGO, I'm going to have your topic stickied on the board to represent the offseason moves. As everyone has seen the Titans have signed former Falcons TE Alge Crumpler to a two year deal worth 2.25 mil.

April 5th 2008: Titans officially signed CB/KR Chris Carr from the Oakland Raiders after Carr signed an offer sheet from a few days earlier to join the Titans. The Raiders declined to match the offer the Titans made to Carr.

Today, the Titans signed OT Michael Roos to a six yr deal worth 43 million. This deal makes Roos the third highest paid OT at his position.

That definitely helps. With our sub-par recievers, this helps take some of the lockdown off of our recievers now that we have a tight end worth giving some respect.

That's a good point CTC. I just hope that Crumpler will be able to stay healthy enough to play consistantly this season.

Yea. When he's healthy, he is a great weapon to have and is quite a playmaker on the offensive side of the ball which we have honestly been lacking the past few seasons.

When you said that statement. That reminded me of how the Titans missed Frank Wycheck and Erron Kinney when our TE game was reliable and intact.
