The Tennessee Titans, the NFL’s lone undefeated team at 10-0, return home this week after consecutive road games to take on the New York Jets. Kickoff at LP Field (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for noon CST on Sunday, Nov. 23. The matchup pits two of the top three teams in the American Football Conference. While the Titans lead the conference standings at 10-0, the Jets won their fourth consecutive game last week to take a one-game lead in the AFC East race at 7-3. They share the AFC’s second-best record with the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is the third consecutive season in which the Jets will visit Nashville. The Jets won the 2006 season opener at LP Field, while the Titans returned the favor in December 2007.

Just to try and mix things up occasionally, maybe the Titans ought to try the Wildcat formation (i.e. back taking snap) with Vince. Crazy perhaps but defense will have no idea what's coming.

Maybe, but right now, not too ready to see Vince back in the middle yet. Personally, I'm gladthe Titans got this lost over with. They really struggled the last four games and having to come from behind to beat the last four teams. Yesterday's Titans were not recogzinable. They allowed both Jones and ashington to cut up the middle for short yd run plays. Favre caught the Titans off guard with the short route throws. And the Titans running game was all but close off completely. They will only have three days before they hit up Detroit for the Turkey Day game. Hopefully they will take care of business on Thursday in Michigan.
