The Tennessee Titans on Wednesday agreed to terms with kicker Rob Bironas on a multi-year contract.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“We are happy to get this deal done,” Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt said. “Rob has worked hard to establish himself as one of the best all-around kickers in the NFL and I would expect that to continue in the years to come.”
Bironas has connected on 84.5 percent of his attempts during his four seasons in the NFL.
The 31-year-old put his name in the NFL record book for most field goals in a game with eight against the Houston Texas on December 2, 2007.
Last season, Bironas was successful on 29 of his 33 attempts.
