Haynesworth to Redskins

Post#1 » by SD2042 » Sat Feb 28, 2009 5:06 am

After numerous deals have been broker to resign Titans DT Albert Haynesworth, both Titans and Haynesworth failed to come to a compromise. So Haynesworth, 28, signs a seven yr deal with the Washington Redskins worth 100 million with 41 million guaranteed. Considering Haynesworth's history of making great tackles, comes a history of injuries as well. Will the long term deal for Haynesworth be well worth it for the Redskins in the long run? How will the Titans make up for the loss of Haynesworth on the D Line?

As do I but the Skins really outbid the Titans for Big Al's services.

The Titans wish to seek evidence against the Redskins accusing them of having contact with Haynesworth before teams were allow to talk to players about contractual agreements.
