NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans (0-3) play their second consecutive road game and the
first of two consecutive division contests this week, traveling to Jacksonville to face the
Jaguars (1-2). Kickoff for the AFC South showdown at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium (capacity
67,164) is scheduled for noon CDT on Sunday, Oct. 4.
After dropping their first three games by a total of 13 points, including last week’s sevenpoint
defeat against the New York Jets, the Titans look to claim their first win of the season
against a team that is coming off their initial victory. The Jaguars traveled to Houston last
week and beat the Texans by a score of 31-24.
The AFC South standings show the Titans in last place, with the first-place Colts at 3-0
ahead of the Titans, Jaguars and 1-2 Texans. After visiting Jacksonville, the Titans return home
to prepare for a nationally-televised Sunday night matchup with the Colts at LP Field.

This game has gotten off to a good start. Mark Sanchez and the Jets taken the same advice from the Texans and have expose the Titans secondary on their drives and as a result, Sanchez scored his first career rushing TD from the 7yd line.

On kickoff return for the Titans, Ryan Mouton fumbles the ball and the Jets get it back and get another TD as the result.

The Titans just finish their current drive and came up blank.

14-0 Jets in the first.

The only thing the Titans are doing decent is stoppin the Jets run somewhat. Otherwise, they are playing like crap.

BTW, ths board needs more fans to be active to generate some traffic. We obviously have the readers, but it would be a lot better to talk and post here if you're interest.

Bout time they do something right. Sanchez coughs up the ball after Javon Kearse swipes at it and Tony Brown recovers the ball for the Titans. Get something to happen to improve momentum and moral.

CJ gets some burn on that play for the first down.

New drive. Kenny Britt gets enough for a first down. CJ gets a couple of good runs and Kerry Collins passes Boomer Esiason on the all QB passing leaders list.

Good pass to Britt by Collins. Follow by another Collins pass to Crumpler for 13 for 1st down. CJ unfortunately has been on lockdown by the Jets defense.

Nate Washington for the Titans TD. Titans take the lead 17-14 in the third.

Things are goin backwards for the Jets and goin right for the Titans. They need to get another good drive and a TD out of ths.

Jets capitalize on Mouton's fumble and get a TD out of the deal. Titans offense bac 2 work to get the lead back.

The Jets got too close, but the penalty pushes them bac and ends the Jets drive. Titans wit the ball back and Mouton's confidence is really shaken with that ball return.

Jets still have CJ on lockdown. The Titans better crack up the aerial game.

That was a wasted drive for the Titans.
