Preston doesn’t seem quick enough to be able to dictate anything, even in SL (which to be fair has a lot of fast young athletes.) He’s got the fundamental skills for sure, but his athleticism is really gonna limit his upside.

It would help if he could become a deadeye 3PT shooter, that would be something within his control.

Agreed. Like everything he does but it’s too slow. Hope the staff tells him the same and yes about his shooting

Under the radar, Keon Johnson is starting to put it together in Portland

Diabate missed today’s game. I don’t think I’m going out on a limb by thinking they’ll hold him out the final game tomorrow too.

Preston missed the game due to health/safety protocols. I assume he’ll be out tomorrow as well.

Boston with the type of game we know he’s capable of.

I wonder why McGowens and Williamson can’t even sniff the floor? Both along with Devoe and Bean are supposed to compete for one of the 2-way contracts. The latter are getting the minutes to show something or not while the former haven’t been given the same. With only one game left maybe they’ve all ready decided on them??

Ain’t gonna lie, some really nice stuff here. That extra muscle is noticeable and he’s starting to look like he’s got an NBA body.

Finally got that Brandon Boston game that we've been waiting for. I'm wondering was he purposely not shooting jumpers and just driving to the lane in games 2 and 3 just because this is the only time he can practice that in a game? He's getting sat down if he doesn't take the open jumper in a regular season game.

I wonder what the coaches were watching for? To my eye no one was tasked with anything. It’s not like they asked Boston to run point for experience or how Moon/Perry handled certain plays together, etc…

Still stumped why certain camp invites got a lot of minutes while others couldn’t sniff the floor. Didn’t seem like a fair chance for guys competing for a 2-way contract.

Really miss Diabate’s energy. Crazy how such a small sample size can stand out like that.

Boston did a lot of the right things just couldn’t get one to drop.

Scrubb had his best game. Wasn’t forcing (until late in the game) things like before.

Have to wonder if Perry and/or Brantley get camp invites. Problem is I think we’re at 21 right now and you can only have 20.

It would be pretty cool if Boston turns into a young Ginobili-type off the bench for this team.

I think Boston will at least be good insurance for any of the top-offensive vets out for a stretch, or longer. This will increase his confidence and experience, and then carry into the playoffs.
