Shows what a great character he must have. Sitting by the side of his mom for 3 days straight!

I hope Wall has his best season ever. Not just selfishly as a Clippers fan, but also because he deserves success after everything he's been through in recent years.

Last time a NBA players story hit an emotional nerve with me was Walter Herrmann, and before that, Keyon Dooling.
Hoping the absolute best for Wall, whether it works on the court or not, hoping he's got the mental help he needs to overcome everything he has been through

Here’s another great article, and interview with Marcin Gortat talking about John now, and when they were teammates:

A lot of people owe John Wall an apology. I understand the media has to write something or say something on their shows that’s controversial and that gets all of the people’s attention because that’s what they are paid to do. But people who know John know that they were unfairly demonizing him. Not that he’s perfect, nobody is perfect. Did he make mistakes? Yes, but everybody makes mistakes. But he is not the person they were making him out to be, and it’s terrible how much that happens.
…
I wanna see John demolish every other point guard in the league. Just go on a tear. I remember seeing him battle every game — Kyrie Irving, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul — and people forget how good he was, how fast he was end to end, how explosive he was. John was special, and I want to see him get back to that. But more importantly, I want him to heal because he has literally gone through hell over these last years.

The constant reminder us fans that, yes, they are millionaires, yes, they get to get paid to do a job that many do for entertainment (no one is going to do the majority of the jobs average people do as recreation), but they are still humans, money doesn’t shield them from pain, suffering, heartache, depression, the list goes on.
Yes, money helps or can help with getting through a lot of these things, but there’s a limit, and it doesn’t erase reality.

Blazer fan here, ages ago John did a fan signing in Portland with Lillard at a local shoe store. Came to see Dame but left a huge Wall fan. Such a genuine and friendly dude. Question for yall, what's your prime starting lineup gonna be?

If I'm Ty, I go very slow and not disrespect Reggie, who led this team in minutes, points and assists last year. There's no rush to get JW more than ~20 minutes at first.
To me, the rest of the equation is what to do after you give Zubac his ~24 mpg. Many of us would like to move on from Marcus Morris but at the moment he's our only proven small-ball 5. [Diabate and Moses are still longshots for any significant minutes this year.]
The rest is "positionless basketball," or as they're starting to call our plethora of swingmen, Wing City. It's up to Ty to see what combos work best and ironically, that may be determined by who helps the second unit the most with Zubac on the bench. A true PG like Wall might be a better fit there--The Completion Backwards Principle.

I think a second unit of Wall-Luke-Mann-Nico-RoCo will be fun to watch....or, depending on the matchup, Mook I'm place of Mann.
I'm any case, it's going to be real fun to see what Ty doesz and I'd love to see some hockey style line changes here and there to fully utilize the depth.
I'm just glad everyone seems to be a high character guy that won't complain about minutes just due to the insane depth.
Expecting Kawhi and maybe PG to max at 67 games.due to b2bs helps. It'll be the playoffs that's going to be the biggest test.
You really love to see it
