Watching the game now.
Nice 25-8 lead.
Not looking forward to seeing how we ended up down at half.

The Spurs play very well considering their relative lack of talent.
The refs were pretty bad tonight- it is good that they persevered and overcame that factor as well
They have Pop.

Was it the perfect game? No, but any game where you pull off the win is good.
Two games later, the much maligned Paul George is now averaging 24/6/5 with a .585 TS%, I'll take that with reducing those turnovers.
I don't know why yearly the general NBA fandom consistently falls into the trap of thinking that the first, 5, 6, 7, 10 games will determine a player or teams outcome, just such a small sample that it doesn't make sense. I'm saying this, but it will happen again though

There is an interesting early trend of players getting healthy just in time to play the Clippers this season: SGA, Vassell, Johnson.
They also never seem to be rusty either and play out of their minds!

How annoying right?Roscoe Sheed wrote:There is an interesting early trend of players getting healthy just in time to play the Clippers this season: SGA, Vassell, Johnson.

Then also, so many good games happen in the season that any night someone random could go off on you.
I remember surfing through games a week or so ago when Jaylen Nowell from Minnesota dropped 23 pts on 9/13 on SAS and looked like he was a star, but he's a career 8.4 ppg guy.
Consistency is what differentiates the tiers of players, but honestly every night, there is some "no name" going off on someone. Of course that's how opposing teams fans feel when guys like Reggie, Kennard, Mann, etc drop big games on them haha

Bottle whatever Zu has and pass it around. Sheesh.
The last few games remind me of the team last year. Hot mess at times, goofy rotations, but scraping up just enough to get the win. Whatever it takes right now.

I hope Kennard is ok.

Love the strong finish in the 4th. Team had good balance on offense with 6 players in double figure. A bit disappointed that Moses Brown didn't get rewarded this game.
