Slightly confused about RoCo's situation (Ty said he's just trying different lineups and it won't be permanent), but at least he seems to be bringing the energy from the bench. Him and Mann were adorable celebrating together.

I've been following RoCo since his Sixers days. Although he can chip in offensively when open, you don't want to give him any key role or he starts bricking. RoCo and Batum will be D-first glue guys* but you really can't play them both at once until Wall and Powell get their offense games together to anchor the 2nd unit. As the incumbent, Nico gets first call and RoCo isn't suffering any as our 6th-highest paid player [$12M].

*Pretty much true of Mann too, who is also getting minutes RoCo would be getting. His time will come.

What I saw tonight was players moving much faster and sharing the ball.

Kawhi looks like he has a tiny bit of rust but is moving well with out the ball.

Last season , Clippers were at their best when they got steals and blocks and then coming down to score off those turnovers .

This typically broke games open and gave them leads similar to the Warriors .

PG13 relieved from playmaking duties is the best PG13 available for you. He can save his energy and focus for shooting&Defense, would be less beaten for late games when you take that role from him. And when you gave that role to natural playmakers like Wall... You increase the efficiency of all your scorers like Powell&Reggie&Marcus etc.

Look Boston for example; they didn't try to make Jayson&Jaylen a playmaker for a reason. They play M. Smart, then acquired D.White last trade deadline. Went to Finals. Even that wasn't enough so they get M.Brogdon as well in recent summer.

Exactly why Wall is going to be huge for this team. His agility is decreased some, but given how elite it once was, the drop off is not generally so much that he's "average". The rest of the game is still there for him with dependable quickness. Showed it this game at least a few times.

John Wall is the key to our offense. We have a mediocre half court offense, we need to play with more pace. That fast break where everyone touched the ball and Powell making the corner 3 was a perfect example.

Having Kawhi back is a big help for PG's dumb TOs. Like others have said, he can just focus more on scoring rather than getting other people involved.
