If this was baseball, we’re fielding a good AAA team that’s not good enough to be a major league team.

We were robbed of a 50-win season because of Covid in 2020. But it has been 6 years since we won 50+. As you all know in the NBA, nobody wins the championship as a sub-50 winner unless you’re the 95 Rockets.

True, and then they went on a 17-2 run. Which shows you can't just throw rando G-Leaguers into the deep end of the pool. That's what Sac has been doing for years but now they have Barnes and Sabonis, and De'Aaron is in his 6th year.

it seems like we, as fans, care more about the team winning than some of the players.

What exactly is the strategy of this team? Rest all the key guys until they are in the play in or even fall out of it? If they felt fine after practicing, they should have played.

This is exactly my problem. Reggie has become my favorite Clipper. He's not perfect but he goes 110% every night while PG and Kawhi have become worse than AD.

Ima let Marcus off the hook here until he gets to play the role he was hired for

If you make under $20M you are expendable. 8-)

TBH, it would be much more crushing if Paul George aggravated an injury and missed 30 games, than if Reggie did. Though at this point, the more likely scenario is PG will be out while Reggie hurts himself trying to carry too big a load.

That sounds glib, cruel, and unfair, but it's none of those things.

The Clippers org pulled Reggie off the buyout scrapheap--then off the FA scrapheap after that. [He played for the league minimum in 2020-21.] His career was finished. His JOB is to be depth and even cannon fodder if that's what the org needs.

He also gave the Clips a 'hometown discount' the next year and is playing out the second year of a 2-year contract at ["only" lol] $11M per. All Reggie ever asked was to be treated with dignity and respect. He's almost 33 and in a contract year but you've never heard jackspit from him about his contract status.

Reggie is finally getting to be Reggie. As a #24 pick in the draft, he was always ill-suited to being the #1 option he ended up being on some very bad Detroit Pistons teams. But he's Pat Bev with more talent and even more heart. I love this fckn guy.

Frankly, MadMax, IMO we're going to need Reggie healthy for the playoffs if we're going to get this done. I don't care what his numbers are. Of all the players on the Clippers roster, Reggie Jackson is the guy I want at my back.

Well, we will see what happens:

"I mean they definitely want to play," Lue said. "We just gotta be smart about it. You hate to see this happen. Kawhi, who has missed 15 months of basketball, you think he don't want to play? He wants to play. PG wants to play, and it's just not the right time. They're still rehabbing, still progressing and doing the right things, trying to get to that point.

"Hopefully we can get it done on this trip. Being optimistic about it."

100% to all of this. Reggie is one of my all-time Clipper favorites.
