I think the Clippers need to hang onto Kennard unless an amazing deal comes along. He is definitely one of the best shooters in the league and he can do more than just shoot. He's also now an average defender- at least not a tremendous liability. He can stay on the court against most teams.

Got to watch the last quarter at the gym. I know it's only the Wizards who have been struggling but the team did a hell of a job keeping there composure when down and coming out strong in the second half even with some key injuries. I feel past teams like the 2020 team would have crumbled after the first half.

Kawhi also slowly getting back to fully operational. Parts just need some oil and WD-40.

We played solid D in the 2nd half with the small lineup. Kawhi had a great game, but no way we win this one without other role players stepping up in scoring. Kennard was that guy today and Coffey had a nice contribution as well.

John Wall was pretty terrible. Felt like he had more bad TOs than assists.

I agree Kennard is amazing. The only players in the League I have more confidence in shooting the 3 is Steph and Kyrie

I had to start it last season. My blood pressure goes up over some of these games. Some I’m glad I walked away while others like today they get it together. Works for me.

Damn, it was nice seeing Leonard dominate a game there at the end again. Its been a while. Truly a superstar when he plays at that level.

Kennard and Mann are never going to get traded. Great to see that the fun guy is back.

i keep thinking mann's the odd man out but he just keeps showing he has this impact factor that seems fluid from game to game and hard to describe, but you know it's there and good for the team. really wish that the team tried to go back and develop him as a PG because that would solve all sorts of problems.

as is, i mean i still think if you pick between one or the other you pick luke, and i think kinda the only way to upgrade for a legit star is you trade mann + someone else.

but who knows, maybe the real path for a true star PG has nothing to do with mann and we end up moving powell/wall/boston/whatever - something that makes a fair bit of sense if we don't think we're gonna trade reggie but we want to make an upgrade at PG (or C).

That's not good, so definitely a good idea to not watch if that is the case

I think Lue needs to bench Wall if he keeps playing like this. His jumper is about as bad as Westbrook's and he turns the ball over way too much. He needs to concentrate better and make simple passes.

Had to, there's no other way. Leonard saw that as a slight and vowed for a 30-point plus game just to get back at Brian Windhorst. One rebound away from a double-double, but again, he's not into accomplishments; he only cares about wins. The 30 PTS was necessary as the rest of the roster was struggling against a lottery team. The only way he'd gotten a double-double was if it was tied to game-winning play: say a Wizard player missed a shot, and Leonard had to grab a rebound to ensure there was no extra possession. Something like that.

At this point, the world no longer sees Clippers as a competitor; their losing history precedes them too much. Instead, it's become Kawhi Leonard vs. (insert team here), not necessary a one man band but it does feel like he has to carry the entire franchise on his back. This could pose a problem for other teams to try to exploit: make Leonard beat them instead of his teammates. Talk about Michael Jordan, opponents will now try to pull an Allen Iverson like how the Lakers did it to win their title in 2001.

I thought Kawhi was amazing, letting the others go for it and filling in the rest, the ultimate complementary player. Not to down PG, but when he steps up it doesn't really make the other guys better.

Get the two of them out there on the floor together and we're gold.

Of course that's been the hard part...

Wtf you talking bout Willis?

Sterling is in the rear view mirror. And for you anti-Doc dead-enders so is he.

So is Pandemic P, who transformed into a team leader and put us on his back all the way to our first WCF. And if our iron man Zu hadn't gone down, who knows? Then add the ultimate glue guy Kawhi?

The league hasn't been in this much flux in years. There is no favorite.

Be here now, bro. Enjoy. This is supposed to be fun and ffs it's only mid-December. I like our chances as much as anybody's.
