If we don't see a 3-0 comeback now, we're probably never going to. Such a wild ending to this game, couldn't have scripted it any better.

Jimmy made some clutch shots, but him and Bam had a very rough night overall. Exact opposite for Duncan Robinson, who got them right back in it, then missed some great looks.

I'd love for game 7 to be even half as exciting, but that might be asking too much from the Heat.

Really fun playoffs.

Don't stick a fork in the Heat yet. Game 7 will be their 1st game in this series where they are facing elimination. They haven't faced elimination in 6 weeks (Play in game vs Bulls).

Yep.

Heat just may be one of those teams that don’t know how to play unless their backs are against the wall and they are counted out. They need to be and feel Iike an underdog.

Should be fun.

I remember when people on this forum said certain coaches were better than Spo.

Just lol.

Now I'm not saying the Celtics should definitely consider bringing back the coach that won them their last championship, but...

In all seriousness, the Heat are simply amazing. Everyone on that roster has bought in. Jimmy needed a lot of help in this series, and most of it came from undrafted players. Just incredible fighting spirit after that gut wrenching game 6 loss.

Their recent record against the Nuggets isn't very encouraging, but that first game could be interesting, after one team got so much more time off than the other. Looking forward to whatever happens.

Jimmy Buckets. Troublemaker. Pat Riley jumped on him when he became available and never let him hit the open market. People tend to go where they're wanted. The Clippers put him on the back burner. You snooze, you lose--nobody wants to be your second choice.

Caleb Martin, Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, these guys will simply be gorilla glued to the bench, or traded for a bag of doritos under Doc or Ty Lue.

They wouldn't even be drafted or signed in the first place under Doc or Frank.

And Heat Culture? LOL, forget about that. We have the Clippers Culture of load management, loyalty to mediocrity, and losing.

That's one narrative. Another would be that 37-year-old veteran Kyle Lowry's 7 points, 7 rebs and 5 assists were more key than Vincent's 10-1-4 or Strus's 8-1-0.

And of course that Miami didn't win it as much as Boston's All-Star duo Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown lost it with a pathetic Game 7 choke—a combined 13-for-36 shooting including 2-for-13 from distance. [Sound familiar?]

Kudos to Caleb Martin, with an incredible playoff series after putting up middling regular-season numbers about the same as Terance Mann's.

to be fair to Tatum- he could hardly move laterally after the sprained ankle and showed he could have a great game 7 in the Sixers series

Yes, I did mean to mention that in fairness to Tatum
apologies
turned his ankle in the first quarter

still, with only 84 points it's not unfair to say Boston lost it
co-superstar Jaylen Brown was 8-23, 1-9 from distance, and a team-worst minus-17 with EIGHT turnovers

that's some real Pandemic P sh*tt
so much for getting each other's back when the other one falls down

At least Brown played. He didn't talk a big game on social media about how what he won't do is quit, then sit out Game 7 with vague soreness, all while patting himself on the back for his "GM skills." :noway:

I'm guessing Brown also doesn't have more podcast appearances than playoff appearances in recent memory.

G-Leaguers are G-leaguers because they play in the G-League. People who play 70 or 80 games and average 28 minutes a game in the NBA are called NBA players and sometimes even "starters." Caleb Martin and Bruce Brown are not scrubs. And certainly not G-Leaguers.

Denver 104 Miami 93

Role players Caleb Martin and Max Strus went a combined 1-for-17. Duncan Robinson added 1-6.

Miami should be able to improve on 2-23. Opening night jitters.

Am I mistaken that you called some NBA players on the Clippers, G leaguers? Must be.
