I will take the win but the bad trends continue:
Too many turnovers. They started two 6 11 guys. I swear height tuns LAC into offensive noobs.
Too many offensive rebounds given up. Same height issue.
Terrible shooting from Harden and PG. PG in particular has been on a roll with building a Brickhouse.
PJ Tucker getting minutes. Why is this even happening when Thies is on the bench as a DNP?

More hard games coming and currently we are barely beating the bottom teams. As a wise man once said, "fasten those seatbelts".

Because Lue coddles veterans rather than doing what's best for the team. It was obvious this was coming when PJ threw his tantrum at the trade deadline.

A one-point snail race either way until we pulled away with about a minute to go

pretty painful

A win is a win, but this team hasn't been right ever since that impressive road trip... Almost at full health and barely beating the "hospital grizzlies"...

PJ getting minutes isn’t a problem. Whatever it takes to get a win. Yeah we suck right now so do what it takes. No coddling is happening btw. Dude hasn’t played for months. If it lights a fire then go for it. We need the change.
Happy for Mann tonight. He came through.

I think with that epic road trip, they [KAWHI!] proved to themselves that they CAN turn the faucet on when the time comes. And
MINN and OKC will start bricking bigtime once the bright playoff lights are on them. Kids. DEN is the only threat. Seeya in the WCF.

PG has GOT to be hiding something, either the groin injury or anxiety about the next contract.

And Beard? WTF was that tonight?

1-8 from the field, 9pts, 8 reb 8 ast 4 TOs
plus+3

dude is an alien
who puts up numbers like that

Glad to see PJ on the court. I don't know if he was needed much in this game in particular, but it couldn't hurt to get him some burn on a back to back with Powell out as well.

I still think he has value as a spot player to guard guys like Zion, Giannis, Durant etc. I'm not saying he should play 30 minutes a night, but it'd be nice to see him situationally for 10-15 minutes against certain teams.

Harden looks like he needs to get his legs back. Ate too much on the break and likely had a party or two

There's a reason PJ hadn't played for months. If you're an aging veteran with name recognition like PJ is, you have to be really bad for Ty Lue of all coaches to stop playing you that quickly, which he was.

The trade deadline arrives and he has a massive temper tantrum in public, demanding a trade and whining about how much he hates being on the team. We can't trade him because he has no value. Suddenly, out of nowhere, he's back in the rotation. Not because he's earned it, but so he won't cause any more drama and distractions.

That is the definition of coddling. Would Lue have done this if PJ was 15 years younger and didn't have a ring? I think we all know the answer is no. He'd be getting the RoCo treatment.

Seems like every time the media starts singing our praises, we immediately start to regress. 3-3 since the glorious road trip. 2 of the 3 wins are narrow wins against bottom feeder teams. Had 2 chances to make a statement against Minny and OKC and failed.

I am really concerned about PG, or as I like to call him PG13ppg these days. Only managed to score 20+ pts twice in the last 10 games. If his groin is still bothering him, he needs to rest. If not then maybe it's time to think about parting ways in the offseason.

I watched the first half of yesterday's game and the team's chemistry looked off. I am going to chalk it up to it being the second game of a b2b coming right after the break. But, I also think something isn't right with the team right now.

Thankfully Terrance Mann got his groove back and saved the day or else the Clippers would be looking at a two game losing streak to start the second half of the season.

As others already mentioned, PG13 is either still injured or butt hurt about the way his contract negotiations are going with the Clippers Or maybe he has a case of Klay Thompsonitis.

Tucker actually played decently- I know he didn't score, but he played solid defense and was hustling.

I think PG is just in a lull. Maybe it has something to do with his contract situation, but he still seems committed to the team- he came up big against Detroit, played well against GSW, and hit some big shots in the 4th quarter last night.

I think they have to give him a decent extension because what's the alternative? Who is going to replace him? Maybe just a little less than what they gave Kawhi
