First Kenny, now Craig. Another assistant leaves Ty's staff for a lateral move elsewhere. I can't help but wonder why these guys are bolting for jobs that aren't even promotions.

They might be thinking "I'm better than this guy" and rather go somewhere else than work under him. who knows.

If so, it took him 4 years to realize that? And he thought he was better than Spoelastra too?

Well they are signing Ty to a long term deal...
"LA Clippers coach Ty Lue has agreed on a new long-term contract that will make him one of the NBA's highest-paid coaches, sources told ESPN on Wednesday."
I suppose this means they are going to overpay for PG and Harden too. Pretty much going to be in stasis for the forseeable future. :noway:

Not surprising but so disappointing. Another year of talking about change just to run it all back.

Only the Clippers thinking he’s on the same level as Pop and Jackson. :banghead:

Absolutely ridiculous. Not just because he's not worth the extension, but also because it signals that we're running the whole team back unchanged.

My level of interest in this team is at an all-time low.

Intuit was such a huge mistake in hindsight. Still being third priority at Staples but with a new team would be preferable to having this garbage product shoved down our throats for another wasted season because of the misguided belief that we need "stars" to open the new arena.

It's like Ballmer thinks Intuit will shrivel up and disappear overnight if we have one down year. Wasn't this supposed to be a longterm investment?

Been a fan since the early 90s. It's getting more and more difficult to stay engaged.

I have a career ((that is going well). Mrs. Quake just popped out Baby Quake #2.

This is much more of a reality for me.

Some more particulars....

"LA Clippers coach Ty Lue has signed a new deal through the 2028-2029 season that will make him one of the NBA's highest-paid coaches at approximately $14 million per year, sources told ESPN.

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank had been eager to secure Lue on a new deal, and negotiations with his agent, Andy Miller of Klutch Sports, led to a finalized agreement in recent days, sources said."

Looks like Lue will run the ship until they finally have picks again. Once they do, they can let him go and finally tank like they should be doing.
