I've used both to get to and from the Hollywood Bowl, and both were very convenient. I may try to catch a game at the new Ballmer Dome this season.

I would've thought a Valley location would've been closer to those in the Antelope Valley/Simi Valley area versus out west in Woodland Hills, but either way, the money saved on parking + avoiding the traffic stress is a great idea.....and could have a nice $30 shot of Taka without worrying about buzzed driving

OTOH, it's over 300 bucks for a pair of nosebleed seats at the Sixers game in November. For that kind of coin I can pay my yearly subscription to the BallmerVision stream, buy the League Pass cable package, and be halfway to a new 70-inch Vizio. And a nice bottle of Jack goes for the price of a couple Coors Lights at the new Clip Joint.

THE WALL: 1000 bucks for 81 games PLUS perks. Pretty cool.

Re: Clippers Might Relocate... To Inglewood: WELCOME TO THE INTUIT DOME
I went to the Clippers/Mavs game. I'm a Bulls fan, but live in LA and have adopted the Clips as my second team over the years. I'm glad the Clips finally have their own home. The Dome is a pure spectacle. State of the art is an understatement. It's expensive and it looks it. That said, I absolutely hated my experience there. I really disliked having to use the app for everything, as well as the ID for entry. I'm tech savvy, but the app was super glitchy during set up and it was a real pain in the ass having to set it up on all of my guests' phone, especially some of the older guests that attended with me. I go on my own a fair amount, but I also bring out of state visitors to games as a fun "LA thing" to do. If I have to download an app on all my guests' phones, I'm going to stop bringing them to games. It's just annoying. I can't believe there's not an option to print tickets or to at least show the tickets for the group on my phone.
Their purse policy is insane. My friend had a relatively small purse and they told her it was too large and that she had to pay to put it in a locker. We went to go do that, but the line was crazy long. She ended up hiding it under her jacket and got in without a problem, but we would have easily missed the first quarter if we had to check it in.
I sat in the Terrace section. I like sitting all over the arena and am not a seat snob at all. I really hated those seats. I know Balmer talked about how everyone would have an unobstructed view, and yeah it's unobstructed, but it's so steep that you're just looking down. My neck hurt by the end of the game.
I thought the sound system was way too loud. Like it was just extra. The light system on the seats was really freaking cool, but I wish they used it more selectively. A lot of times I felt like I was just watching everything but the game because there were so many distractions. They had this mentalist game thing where you could answer a question with buttons on your seat, but it looks like they hadn't worked out the kinks yet. Could be a cool feature once they figure it out.
As for the game, Kai Jones looked interesting out there. I could see him being a sleeper impact player. It seemed like he had developed some chemistry with guys on the team and was a constant lob threat. Harden was playing at half speed but looked good out there -- was really getting guys involved. Porter Jr's talent is off the chart. He felt like the most talented player on the court whenever he came in. It seems like they're using him like Harden --- he has the green light to completely run the offense and take shots whenever he wants. Not sure if that's ultimately a good thing, but he produced last night. Kris Dunn looked a little lost on offense with the ball in Porter Jr's hands. He's not a very good off the ball player, but maybe he's still finding his footing.

I don't understand, how can it be priced like that? Ballmer just wanted to create a NBA student section regardless of revenue hit? I kept searching around, assuming the $999 was basically like a PSL for those seats. It even comes with free parking (but I like right near Pierce so would take the shuttle anyway...)

Thanks for the report. I haven't been all that interested in the place from the photos and videos. Too big and impersonal, no character, no intimacy. No HUMANITY.
Ballmer got no soul. Like the new logo. WTF is this--the Cruise Ship of Death?

So you must use that Intuit Dome app to get entry even if you already have the ticket? From what I heard that app has been nothing but a disaster. I don't like having to use an unnecessary app which has all my personal info. Wish they make it optional.

The app is the only way to access the ticket, and each individual guest must have the app (unless they are minors). I bought my tickets through StubHub, but had to download the Clippers + Intuit Dome app to receive them. No way to access them through your email or Stub Hub. No way to have a physical copy of the ticket. Then when you try to enter the arena, you have to save some special Intuit Dome ID thing to your digital wallet and show that instead of your ticket to get into the actual arena. It's overly complicated and I think is going to alienate older and less tech-savvy fans.
Though it's not currently required, they're really pushing for you to use their facial recognition software any time you access the app. I probably won't go to another game because of all this, honestly, which sucks because I've loved attending Clipper games over the years.

Re: Clippers Might Relocate... To Inglewood: WELCOME TO THE INTUIT DOME
Went to the game tonight. The arena is flat out amazing in every facet! The exterior is beautiful and striking. Love the ribbon scoreboard. A million restrooms available. Power outlets for every seat. All the high school basketball jerseys from California is a great touch. Its a very intimate college type layout with the seating literally right on top of the court. This place could be a huge problem for the visiting team. This makes it very very steep in some sections which caught me off guard, especially in The Wall. Didn't care for the facial recognition and overuse of the app which you're constantly asked about, but it went fairly smooth for my experience. Good luck to older ones who aren't tech savvy. But overall despite the place being too reliant on the app, I love it! We finally have a home, an amazing one at that! Thank you Ballmer

The app is required because Ballmer will use it in the future to verify that each ticket holder has an active subscription to Microsoft Office 365 and that they upgraded to Windows 11.
