Pulled it out in the end. Thank god. Norm is an all star. Spurs for New Year's Eve.

Kawhi is a ceiling raiser. Ok we got that.

Harden is a floor raiser, yup agreed.

But how about ZU? Both ceiling&floor raiser, a beast. Best Croatian baller ever.

Nobody expected this. Except Norman himself.

It's refreshing to have a real star who can actually carry a team. This would have been one of those games where a certain someone would have put up 9 points and 10 turnovers in a blowout loss and then claim it's because the front office hasn't signed enough of his buddies yet.

Decent win considering the circumstances. Was looking like a loss for awhile but toughed it out well again.

Definitely one of the very grittiest teams in the league.

As expected this team is proving people wrong so far.. I don't see this going away barring a set of bad injury periods. And, the
West while still tough, the teams apart from OKC who were on another level last year, are not the same this year to this point.

The Clippers need to value the basketball more- far too many turnovers.

Still- they kept their composure and pulled it out in the end.

Weird calls at the end- how is not a foul when Zubac's arms were grabbed- how is he supposed to go for the ball? Also, looked like the Pels last FT was an airball- it just hit the backboard.

A lot of those calls made absolutely no sense.

The team without Kawhi last year loses this game, that's for sure.

This team is like the 18/19 team and you plug a Kawhi in there with the league being WIDE open, we may have something here.

The basketball gods owe us AT LEAST one healthy playoff run with Kawhi and this team.

Yep for sure

Certified 3 level scorer. It's interesting that Lou Will also had his best year at the age of 31 in a Clipper uniform.

It looks like another beneficiary of addition by subtraction. I'm still worried about the 33 mpg workload--career highs in minutes, FGA, rebs and assists--but the only place it's showing is at the line [52%] and only slightly in FG% [61%]. Only 3 games all year without double-digit rebounds, only 8 without a double double.

His numbers are in line with his career per-36 numbers, but the trick is to ramp up production without sacrificing efficiency*, and he is. But keep an eye on it. He also played the Olympics and has run out of gas before.

Hence, why the Clips need to make a move for Valanciunas. Getting Valanciunas to serve as the backup big would be a great move. Tucker's contract could be used. Send them Bones Hyland if necessary. Plus, getting a Lakers target would be icing on the cake.
