People laugh at Doc Rivers calling these things a "schedule loss" [or a scheduled loss, I was never sure] but this is one.
No way the Clippers winning today, schedule or otherwise. OKC starting to look like unwinnable games as they are a superior team. The Shai trade just feels like getting kicked in the nards over and over. That being said, I would love to see LAL get a schedule like this. Nope, the NBA makes sure they play as few B2Bs as possible and their difficult opponents must play LAL on the second night of their own B2B (like CLE).
the schedule is very weird for the Clippers this season- so many games bunched together followed by a lot of time off followed by more games bunched together.
OKC has definitely formed a very solid young core and it is very aggravating knowing that the Clippers could've had SGA. Maybe they can entice him to come back in free agency.
I don't think OKC will make it to the finals this season though as they are vulnerable when things slow down and they still lack experience. If Dallas is healthy, I favor them. Minnesota might give them trouble too, Jokic would be a handful for them as well. The Lakers would probably play out of their minds and get every call against them- magically SGA's personal whistle would disappear.
