Okay, for about 3 years now I see multiple fans are extremely upset with Lawrence Frank. And understandably so.
Under the disastrous "leadership" of Lawrence Frank, the Clippers have suffered from a series of mind-boggling trades, unnecessary roster shake-ups, and shortsighted moves that have crippled our championship hopes instead of strengthening them. Instead of building a contender, he has sabotaged this team from within, wasting prime years of our superstars and pushing us further from the ultimate goal. :banghead:

Enough is enough. Lawrence Frank must be fired immediately! So on behalf of all fans who demanded L-Frank to be fired, here's a breath of fresh air - an official petition!

Let me know your thoughts, guys.

------
PETITION TO FIRE LAWRENCE FRANK: SAVE THE L.A. CLIPPERS FROM SABOTAGE!

For years, we have passionately supported the L.A. Clippers, believing in the dream of bringing an NBA championship to our beloved franchise. But time and time again, that dream has been derailed—not by injuries, not by bad luck, but by the reckless, incompetent, and outright destructive decisions of one man: Lawrence Frank.
This isn't just about frustration; it's about accountability. A man who repeatedly fails at his job, weakens our roster, and throws away our future should not be allowed to continue running this franchise into the ground. If Clippers management truly cares about winning, they must act now and remove the problem standing in the way of success.

By signing this petition, you are demanding action. You are sending a message to the Clippers' ownership: We will not sit quietly while incompetence destroys our team. It's time to put the Clippers back on the path to glory.

Sign now and make your voice heard—Fire Lawrence Frank NOW!!

Maybe you should support the argument that Frank has "sabotaged this team from within," and give some examples. My main critique of his talent acquisition has been that he tends to "round-off" for basketball IQ and playmaking, opting instead for more isolation scoring— leading to offensive stagnation when scorers don't go off. However, he seemed to address this issue at the deadline by acquiring Bogi and Simmons, both players less deficient in those areas. As always, our biggest problem remains health, so how does that interact with your argument?

Thank you, I appreciate the opportunity to clarify my perspective and provide examples to support my argument. Let me address your points step-by-step:

1. “Sabotage from Within" and Talent Acquisition:
My criticism of Lawrence Frank’s tenure stems from a pattern of decisions that, in my view, prioritized short-term optics over sustainable team-building. For example:
- Trading Lou Williams (a proven Sixth Man and locker-room leader) for Rajon Rondo in 2021!! Rondo contributed little on the court, clashed with teammates, and was waived within months! This STUPID move stripped the team of reliable scoring and chemistry!! :banghead:
- Signing John Wall to a massive contract extension in 2017, which hamstrung salary flexibility for years! When injuries struck, the team lacked the resources to pivot.
- Drafting Moussa Diabaté (raw and unproven) over more NBA-ready prospects in 2022, despite glaring immediate needs.

While the Bogdan Bogdanović and Ben Simmons acquisitions addressed specific gaps, they followed years of questionable prioritization (e.g., favoring isolation scorers like Reggie Jackson over playmakers).

2. Health vs. Decision-Making
You’re right that health has plagued the team. However, health cannot explain moves like the Lou Williams-Rondo trade, which was a pure basketball decision. Similarly, Frank’s choice to trade a first-round pick for Marcus Morris Sr. (who underperformed) or the Blake Griffin max contract (which aged poorly due to injuries) were risks unrelated to health.

3. Additional Questionable Moves

- Trading Luke Kennard (a 40%+ 3PT shooter) for Bones Hyland, who struggled with consistency and got traded.
- Failing to secure value for Paul George during his prime, leading to a rushed rebuild.

These decisions created roster imbalances that magnified the team’s fragility when injuries hit.

4. Final Note
I agree health is a critical factor, but Frank’s transactional history compounded the challenges. Even with better injury luck, poor asset management (e.g., squandered draft capital, misallocated cap space) would still hinder success.
Again - Health has nothing to do with Lawrence Frank trading Lou Will for a washed Rondo.

Thank you again for the constructive dialogue — I’m open to hearing any counterpoints.
