Harden/Powell havent proven to be clutch. Both dont want it.Powell made a terrible pass instead of going up for a shot and then bricked a 3. Harden made multiple bad decisions and retreated in the clutch. Kawhi cant get to it with so little on the clock.

OKC is allowed to grab on defense. They have a really good squad of course to do that. They make teams look worse but we definitely need Powell to get back into form. Teams are going to put a lot of pressure and doubles on Kawhi and Harden which they did tonight. Powell is basically the X factor.

I respect Harden for wanting to play but if the coaching staff knew he could barely move they should have made the call. I can’t stand when Lue says stuff like that.

Should have won this game, but too many things went against them- Powell still isn't back up to speed, Bogdan reverted back to his poor form, and the refs were horrendous.

Adam Ausland on the postgame: The Ty scapegoating is predictable and false. Ty had them in position to win and they didn't execute.

Hey, these OKC kids are good. Caruso [1-6 to that point] hit his 3-pointer and Norman missed his wide-open look. Norman also had a wtf turnover and was also guarding Caruso for that shot. But hey, it's only his 3rd game back.

Disappointing but not time to slit your wrists. Or anybody else's. On to New York.

also, basically every call went in OKC's favor down the stretch.

That was very minimal contact by Harden- they could have easily overturned it.

Powell got hit in the face so hard by SGA that his nose was bloodied- but no call.

SGA fouled Zubac on purpose- still no call.

Must be nice to be SGA

Also, earlier in the game Dort was so physical with Harden that he got injured- no call.

Refs screwed us big time, especially on that no call when Zu got mauled under the basket. Unfortuately Harden, Norm, and Bogdan weren't it tonight. What really showed was that we need that young big or power forward that can run, rebound, and dish out some pain when needed. Either that or this would've been the perfect game for TMann. Not saying he's better than Bogdan, but we needed a hustle player out there tonight. A guy who could rebound, match Lu Dort and Caruso's toughness, and get his hands dirty. We're all finess while they were grit and grind, with the refs help of course.

But we were still in it at the end. It was shocking to see us play "hot potato" with the ball on that final possession where we could've taken the lead. And yes, I did want to see Shaw coach this game and then start over with Lue again for the Knicks game on Wednesday. They sat Chet and Jaylen Williams and still won.. sheesh!

Only watched the highlights of this game, but OKC fouls so much and gets away with it. I thought only the Lakers got this kind of royal treatment from the refs but it seems SGA is the new Dwayne Wade of the league. Despite the clunky finish, the Clips should have won the game, they were the home team FFS, they don't deserve to get jammed at home by the refs. NBA refs are just the worst, right next to NFL refs, it's almost as if they have something riding on these games...

Lue has to cut this crap out. Harden was bad down the stretch after the injury and it hurt the team. His injury is probably even worse now for staying in the game. Just a hunch - Brian Shaw would've sat him down.

it is ridiculous that they get such a favorable whistle- they are so young and athletic that it is difficult enough as it is to compete with them, but when they allow to play so physically without calling fouls you can just see the frustration mount- hard to keep your composure

It's a very cynical philosophy, and pretty close to cheating: They can't call 'em all. All you can hope is that with :03 left in a deciding game, they finally DO get whistled. That was Doc's maybe best thing as a coach, being a whiny biotch--his teams are at or near the top every year in FTAs. Ty is much quieter.

Maybe Harden should sit out the Knicks game. Let him heal up a bit. I would hate to see him miss extended time.
