Wow, just wow. They playing like they believe against a tough Denver team. I really can't say enough about Van Gundy. He has them playing with urgency on the defensive end. Harden deserves massive credit for being the play making PG "pun intended" they've desperately needed during 213. He has unlocked and elevated Zu, can score in bunches and handles the offense so Kawhi can play D too, not to mention, he's opportunistic on the defensive end. Keep at it guys Saturday is also a must win. GO CLIPS GO!!!

Great win! If Norm is at least 70% back then its going to be an uphill battle for Denver. A complete effort from everybody. I was the game and I must say, having our own arena it felt like a compete and total Clipper Experience from top to bottom. Playoff games at Staples always had an unhealthy invasion of other fans, prominent Laker statues everywhere outside, inside we're covering up Laker banners. Then there's Laker fans somehow in the building even though we're not playing them. How about that upper deck that's a mile high, etc. But a playoff game at Intuit tonight and into the future I can honestly say was/is pure Clipper-Ville or you could say Clipperdom. A few Denver jerseys here and there, but it was all US and about US in there and nobody else. Not only could you see it, you felt it. F*cking awesome!

Team looked like a true contender tonight.
Full on business, no bs. Great play calling, awasome execution. No superstar, savior moments. Just flawless basketball.

Feels great to christen Intuit with a dominant playoff win. And not just that, but the crowd rose to the occasion and was electric all night. The team fed off that energy and rewarded us with one of their best defensive performances all year.
It was great to see Norm shake off those early struggles and get back to doing what we all know he can do. Playoff P could never. On the other hand, Bogi's level of play is getting deeply concerning. IDK, even with how timid he could be at times, I have a hard time believing that Mann would be giving us less right now than Bogi is. Lue might have to consider benching him and giving Coffey a chance if he doesn't turn it around.
Not a good omen for the Nuggets that they were this uncompetitive in a relatively quiet game for Kawhi. You simply can't afford to waste one of those games if you're going up against a healthy Kawhi. I think Denver lost the mental battle going into this game when their coach started crying to the media about "pumped-in crowd noise" instead of getting his team prepared for the Intuit experience. The job's not finished, obviously, and I still have too much PTSD from all our years of playoff meltdowns to feel too comfortable yet, but I'm feeling a lot better about our chances now than I was after Game 1.

Posted in the other thread about hoping that Ty would play DJJ alongside Kawhi in order to allow DJJ to sneak in the backside. Glad to see that they did that. DJJ with a couple of nice backdoor cuts that Kawhi found him on.
Loving the Kawhi, Zu, Bogi, DJJ, Batum line-up. The offensive flow looks like Kawhi's Spurs/Toronto offenses. he looks more comfortable in that flow. Bogi is great in the unit. I think Ty has found that he shouldn't use Bogi and Harden together. Surrounding Bogi with a group of defenders lets him get aggressive defensively and can just facilitate on offense.
I am starting to think that Ty and Van Gundy are purposely limiting Ben Simmons minutes and usage. They appear to be looking bigger picture. Simmons is going a fine job with the bigger Jokic. Bet they are saving his minutes (unless necessary to increase) and letting OKC get limited video. Would expect Simmons to get more run vs the Thunder.
Still a long way to go in this series, but Adelman's inexperience is starting to show.

Respect. Long way from no one impressing him in camp.
He may not be what he once was but he’s still got it.

Would recommend everyone check out last night's post game interviews.
Ty Lue asked about the credit the JVG deserves for the D: All of it
Harden calling Ty Lue and JVG the Ying Yang twins
Kawhi talking about the D
These guys seem to be locked in with one goal.
I expect them to come out in Game 4 and 5 and take it to the Nuggets. If the Thunder close out Griz on Saturday, Clips would have a three day rest disadvantage. They win Friday, then NBA might not start Round 2 until Saturday, so they can get a little rest.
