The more MPJ speaks in public, the more he makes Frank almost look like a genius for not drafting him. Now that Kyrie seems to have finally learned to shut up, MPJ is making himself the new Kyrie.

The reason why not drafting him was a mistake has nothing to do with his health, it's that we may have been able to put him in the PG trade and keep SGA, and we'd be 1000x better off right now. Also, MPJ is still a far better player than Jerome was.

kinda shocking he can't get a guaranteed one-year

Be surprised if he doesn't make the team. Best to Coffey.

Unresponsive. The doctors WERE right. The whining STILL continues after all these years but the fact is that they both were failed picks. Missing 60% of your games is not a successful pick. By the time MPJ was productive, he was on his second contract at 30 MILLION a year.

Frankly, I smelled the hand of Jerry West in the Jerome Robinson pick, not the coach or FO. Besides advising Ballmer to trade up for Shai [a masterstroke] I'm not sure what The Logo really brought to the Clippers except a pal for Ballmer to sit with during games.

MPJ comes across an extremely ignorant prick. Don't ever want him on the Clippers.

I was watching game 6 last night.Goodness Aaron Gordon was such a problem the whole series. I honestly think Denver is just a really tough matchup for this team. I'd be interested to see how the team matches up with the other good teams put west. I think Houston is pretty scary just in that they have 2 veteran, fearless killers and a bunch of young talent. OKC is obviously the champions, but to me they just aren't as scary matchup wise as Denver. Probably blasphemous.Minnesota is an interesting one and where I think John Collins is huge. The Gordon problem reemerges with someone like Randle. Which is why I like the Collins signing though he is not super physical. Gordon played like he was 270 or something, even made kawhi look small at times.

Not drafting him is one thing, drafting J-Rob in front of DiVincenzo, Huerter, Okogie, Grayson, Simons, Timelord, Mo Wagner is another. There were over a dozen more useful players and they ended up with the worst case scenario in Jerome.

Only Simons was a real loss, and he went 24th, meaning 10 other teams passed over him as well. He also didn't become a double-digit scorer until his FOURTH year in the league. All the rest are journeymen, none still with their original teams.

The PG trade happened after the 2019 season, which Porter missed completely due to the injury that had caused teams to be leery of him in the draft. In trade value, he was about as close to 0 as you can get. He wouldn't have added any more to the trade than Jerome would have.

Game, set, match.

Can we put this one to bed at last? Yes they SHOULD have drafted Huerter, a journeyman who is on his THIRD team now. I'm so tired of this. Do your research.

Doesn't look too much different to me. I also think its the way the pictures are shot, mainly in the first one.

As long as he can play like this, though : )

Finished 3rd in the MVP voting that year. Anybody who says they knew better is a lying sack of spit.

Well, the story is that Kawhi has been conditioning himself to play a whole NBA season end-to-end. Last year, he ran out of gas at the end. Let's call this his Last Hurrah. Beard, CP3, Lopez, them too. They all know this. THIS IS IT!
