Second straight game where the Clips come out and shoot above 50%. Big Sammy came through with an unbelievable game. Each shot that went in, all I could think is he is ridiculous tonight. 32 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds. Beautiful performance from him tonight. Maggette added 21 points (10 in the first and at least 6 in the 4th). Kaman dominated the boards with 18 boards. He didn't shoot well at all but he made up for it in rebounds. Too many turnovers, but I don't care too much because we got the win. It's been so long, I almost forgot what they felt like.

just like 05-06, sam has willed us to victory. i miss those days. it seems like the team has responded since sam and cat voiced their displeasure about a week ago and we finally pulled one out against a familiar suns team. i credit dunleavy and the team for executing an effective defensive gameplan against the suns. thomas could be starting ahead of thornton so tt can be showcased, but his play might have convinced me that he's worth keeping around for when elton, shaun and a high lotto pick fall back in our laps.

Great game. The Clipps did great work on both sides of the floor. Cassell was just on fire. He kind of reminded me of the 1/2 of the Brand/Cassell 2 man game during the 05-06 playoffs. This should be a momentum builder.
Also, anyone noticing who has the best shot selection on the Clippers? Al Thornton without a doubt.
Good job Clipps.

I know that Thomas is here for his three point game and spreading the floor, but I've been impressed when he has taken the ball aggressively to the basket (e.g. the games vs Dallas and Orlando).
