Clippers Looking to Add Miller

Post#1 » by mkwest » Mon Feb 18, 2008 9:23 pm

The Los Angeles Clippers are trying to pry Mike Miller out of Memphis with an offer of expiring contracts that includes a package of Sam Cassell and Aaron Williams. The Grizzlies want the Clippers first-round pick in 2008, and so far, the Clippers are balking.

Ohh--- MIKE Miller, thank God. I thought the subject like was referring to ANDRE Miller...I was gonna be like, "The same dude that showed up here for a wasted year and then bounced?!"

But Mike Miler, I can see as a good addition. I'm not a fan of giving up Sammy, but ugly as Miller is, we could sure use his touch. I'm interested to see what happens before the deadline.

Wow. That would be nice, and exactly what we need for next year. Then Memphis can probably buy out Cassell, and he can go to the Celtics like everyone's talking about. :P

That would be nice for us and Sam.

The first would have to be a second or a future first though.

we'd have to add something else to beat the pacers offer of diogu and marquis daniels. we'd have to add something to sweeten the deal, but certainly not our first round pick.

As long as the trade doesn't involve either the Minnesota 1st rounder or any future Clipper first rounder, I am in favor of the trade.

The only two deals that make any sense is Miller for Maggette straight up or Miller for Cassell and Williams. First deal though is odd because Maggette is not an expiring contract. Second deal they add another point guard, though they would probably flip within an hour.

I like Millers outside shooting, that would be huge.
