Brand Returns to Practice

Forward Elton Brand took a major step Monday toward returning to play for the Clippers this season, when he participated in team practice for the first time since he ruptured his left Achilles

This is some of the best news in a long time for Clipper fans. I'm glad that he's back on the court and able to participate in some of the drills. As of right now, it looks as if he's 4 weeks minimum from returning to action. I agree with Sammy though, and hope he keeps a bug in EB's ear so that he won't risk an early return/overdo it. I know Elton's chomping at the bits. I'm looking forward to him playing but only when he's 100%

Woo! I had no idea that we were expecting him back at practice even remotely soon. I guess I was looking at it chronologically, and just expected it to be Livingston who would return first. But this news is as outstanding as it is unexpected!! Atta baby EB....keep on truckin' dogg!!

That's good to hear. 15-20 is plenty for him to get back into game shape for next season.

It will be great to see Elton play again. We may not make the playoffs but he needs to get the rust off of him. People better not sleep on us next season. I think we will really surprise some people.

I say LET people sleep on us next season...grab a few easy dubs! It's sad to think that we'll have to wait almost 9 months to see what the Clippers should have been this season...but I can't wait! Shoot, I can't wait for the last 15 games of this season for that matter.
