He needs have this type of performance tomorrow against the co-tenants.

I wish he would have had the pt from the beginning then he wouldn't have to share with Durant

^ Agreed.

However, Durant was heavily favored to win the ROY even before he suited for Seattle IMO. All Thornton did was just silence the critics.

Oh definitely. I love that he's just deadening the critics. They said he was too old, they let him slip in the draft () then they left him off of the rookie team. The guy has every right to prove the doubters wrong. He said he was going to make the teams that passed on him regret doing so and he's walking the walk right now.

Good to see Maggette and Mobley icing down on the pine because tomorrow they will both be logging major minutes.

Great win, we beat Utah. And for the first time in a long time we win back to back games :)
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Clippers win 114-104. I don't think that anyone could have predicted this going into the game. Our first back to back victory since November. It wasn't as close as the score looks. We were up by 20 much of the 2nd half. Maggette dropped 27 (7-10 FG, 2-2 3-Pt, 11-11 FT), 6 boards & 5 dimes. Thornton with 27 as well on 10 of 18 shooting. This guy continues to impress. Watching him with a healthy Clipper squad is going to be crazy. He definitely has a star quality about him. The guys played well defensively, we limited our turnovers for most of the game (only 3 in the first half). We got to the line and made our free-throws (38-41). The guys were solid tonight and played a great game without Sam, and a few players in foul trouble. That other LA team is up tomorrow so let's hope the guys come out and show them up. Good Win Clips.

Ayy MK: CONSECUTIVE WINS BABY!!! And MJ-- sweet comeback to the hater that came up earlier (I got the GTFOH the first time :)). Unfortunately I couldn't watch the game, but I was checkin the score as often as possible and I'm really pleased with the win. Hopefully it was because of our AMAZING play and not Utah's lack of effort!! Great job by the guys. Keep them W's rollin' in.

awesome game. i never really got a chance to watch more than 5 minutes at a time but we had a steady hold on this one and every time it looked like the jazz were ready to make a run the clippers answered with big baskets.

one note i thought i'd mention. of all the current lottery teams, the clippers play more teams with winning records, 20 of their last 30 games are against teams above .500. we're going to have to play at the level we did last night a lot if we want to stay competitive the rest of the way out.

Wow.
Just wow.
I couldn't get the game on TV, so I just watched the highlights on the NBA Daily show, and it was very heartening.
Man, Thornton is so good --- seeing him just makes the future brighten up no end.
Congratulations, Clips --- keep up the good work.

Utah had a subpar game and more than likely overlooked us, but the Clippers came to play. They didn't really turn the ball over much, they shot well, they exploited matchups when given the chance. We were up by 19-20 points within the last 3 minutes. In the closing minutes Utah scored a few baskets to make the score a bit more respectable, while we were coasting with the game in hand. Even if Utah were more in tune last night, there's no denying that the Clippers played a great basketball game and still would have won 8)
