Loftin is right P2. I just want our team fighting to the end and not giving up on the season. There are still games to be played and I want the Clippers to play as hard as they can and win as many games as they can. I just love to see effort and I hate to see it when a team gives up.
Like you P2, and any other dedicated NBA fan, is to see my team in a championship. Unfortunately the Clippers have never got as far as the second round, and that was only a few seasons ago. I'm just passionate about my team. And as being a Clipper fan we all know how hard it is to be a fan. All I'm saying is that I don't want my team to give up and I just want us to keep playing hard. I also want us to be in the best position to win.
As far as Cassell's buyout in time we will see if it happens or not. That link to the thread that you sent doesn't seem to be too reliable, but we'll see if it happens.

Sorry, Clippers fans, but heathmalc, the original poster of the Cassell buyout rumor, has totally made up this rumor. He said "it is being reported they reached an agreement on a buyout" and that he "heard it on radio". But those were nothing but lies.

However:
Cassell agent sitting next to Sterling at the game tonight. I'm sure they will be talking about a buyout for Sammy.

The clock is ticking faster on Sam Cassell's time to arrange a buyout of his contract in hopes of signing with a playoff-bound team.
In order to become eligible to play elsewhere, Cassell would have to arrange a buyout by March 1.
"It's getting close ain't it?" he said.
When asked if that was the path he is seeking, Cassell responded on Saturday:
"The question is, will they give me a buyout?"
He added he would rather focus on playing basketball and allow agent David Falk to handle the business aspects of it.
"That's what I hired David for," he said.

Yes, P2 we saw David Falk sitting next to Donald Sterling at the Utah game on Friday. The do nothing style of Dunleavy, Baylor and Roeser is mind boggling.
Why couldn't the team get a late 1st pick for Sam from a contender? Even an early 2nd rounder could have helped this team since players are likely to leave in the offseason reducing the little roster depth they currently have.

Cassell Confirms Buy-Out Talks With Clippers
LA Times
Sam Cassell and the Clippers appear to be parting ways soon.
Cassell, the team's veteran point guard, confirmed wide speculation today that he is seeking a buyout of his contract.
"They've been discussing it, so what more can I say?," said Cassell, 38. "Both parties are getting to a number and saying, 'OK, this is what we'll do it for.' I just want to be treated fairly."
