Brand really going to play in March?

Post#1 » by creative1 » Sat Mar 1, 2008 3:01 pm

I've seen some rumors that Brand is going to play middle of March. Do you think he'll really play? I know Kaman is having injury problems so there is more incentive to have him back on the floor, but it seems like there isn't a pressing need to get EB back out there.

It's a pretty major injury he's recovering from and there is no way the Clips are making the playoffs in the west. You really expect to see him back? I love EB and want to see him out there dominating again but don't want to get my hopes up.

there are several topic dedicated to brand and his rehab. he's reportedly jumping well off of two feet and is doing contact drills with the team. unless reports are way off, i expect elton to be playing this season. it's been so long elton has been out that expecting him back in two weeks (mid-march) still feels like a long shot. but with eb's heart and work ethic, regardless of team standings, i expect brand to stick to the timetable and i doubt at this point there will be any major setbacks.

I expect him back in 3 weeks or so. He'll probably log around 15-20 mins. You're right there is not much to play for other than maybe peace of mind. EB will certainly consider it a triumph to play at all this season as will Shaun. I don't mind as long as he's 100%

I really want to see them back just as positive motivation to the rest of the team and the loyal fans of Clipper nation. I swear I'll be at both their games rain or shine.
