i just realized how good the clippers can be next year

Ok, you can count Detroit as not have superstars, but they have a lot of regular stars: Rasheed, Rip, Chauncey and a tremendous supporting cast.

We are nowhere near that level. And Detroit may be the only non-superstar champ since the 70's.

I agree that we can be a very good team with what we have, but the furthest we'll go is 2nd or 3rd round of the playoffs. Do you think we could beat Kobe or Duncan in a 7 game series in the Western Conference Finals?

I just don't see it. All the champs in recent memory have bigtime players.

At this point I'd say no. I'm still not that fond of Dunleavy coaching the team, and we didn't beat the Suns 2 years ago with Cassell.

well think about it like this. by the time our young talent develops like thornton and our pick in this years draft (hopefully gordon or mayo) then we'll have nice young players that have the potential to become superstars. the only way id do a trade for arenas is if we give up kaman and not brand. they would probably do it because kamans a good young center and isnt payed THAT much. we'd probably have to include a filler too but still. the wizards cant really ask for that much because arenas has been out for the past two years for extended periods of time because of his knees.

hes not healthy so they cant ask for as much as they would if he was healthy and had a great season.
