My FSN is good
Pretty much. If the Clippers actually have good ball movement it's usually only displayed in the first quarter, then it's all isos from then on out. That's one thing that made Kaman's play at the beginning of the year so impressive, because he wasn't getting too many easy plays at all.

Is their offense always like this??? I mean the players are hitting their shots, but it seems like a ton of one-on-one games going on. Not seeing any easy layups or setting up of other players

Clippers escape this one Houdini-style. 99-98 is the final score. Thornton and Maaggette had nice first halves and looked like they were on a pace for high scoring/career nights but fizzled out in the 2nd half. Mobley stepped it up and took it upon himself to keep the Clippers afloat and eventually hit the game winning free-throw. Didn't see too much contact on the Heat foul on Mobley though. The 3rd quarter by the Heat was just unexpected. They played hard and their shots were falling left and right. They hit 12 3's in the game shooting 57% beyond the arc. Cook & Davis really put the pressure on us by draining big shots and made this game competitive.

With the Clippers, there's no such thing as an easy basket. That's why we NEED Derrick Rose so badly...a pure PG who can create a shot as easily as he can set up his teammates. I mean, thank goodness Thornton has the ability to create his own shots, but just imagine if we had a guy like Chris Paul or Deron Williams?!?! Thornton would be avg. 20 pts a game. Mobley would be hittin 3's with ease. But the reality is, nothing comes easy these days for the Clips.

Although the Clips escaped by 1 point tonight. It really doesn't excuse the fact they allowed the Heat to kill them in the third quarter and having to fight off the surge to escape to victory against a Wadeless Heat team. Not only the the Clips need better ball movement with a PG in the mix. They need to upgrade their defense as well.
