Clippers take the lead for the first time tonight as Brevin hits 1 of 2 free-throws. 10-9 with 7:20 left in the first.

Wolves got off to a 5-0 lead before Thomas hit a 3. He scored the Clippers first 5 points. Maggette's shot has been looking really smooth so far.

Tied at 23 at the end of the first quarter. Gomes scored the last 4 points for the Wolves to tie it up. Maggette (11) & Thomas (7) have 18 of our 23 points. Maggette is hitting his jumper's and his stroke is looking really nice to begin the game. He picked up 2 fouls so he'll have to do his best to avoid picking up another before the half. Gomes leads Minnesota with 10 points.

At the half the Wolves lead by 3. 47-44. Gomes has scored 15 for Minnesota with Snyder putting up 10. Jefferson has 8 boards and 4 blocks, and has yet to really get involved offensively.

I thought I would come over here because the Wolves board is next to dead, and find out yours is even worse. Are all your game threads like this?

lol! Nah I think this is just a boring game. We usually have a bit more activity with previous games, but this one hasn't been that exciting.

Yeah, with it being an early game and the fact that it's against the T-Wolves is why this thread was such a bummer. I wanted to watch the game, and lord knows I tired...fell asleep in the 2nd half tough. Woke up to find the Wolves up by double digits...not the way to start the second half of my day!

Clips fall to the Wolves 90-99. Aside from Maggette & Thomas none of the other usual suspects did anything for us. Powell had a nice double double with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks. Thornton wasn't even expected back tonight so you can chalk up his performance to playing through an injury. Mobley had a nice couple of games (where he looked like first 4 games Cat) leading up to this one but nothing was falling for him tonight. Wolves win the season series 3-1. No offense Wolves fans but for a team to have only 16 games all season and knowing that 3 of those wins were against us is a bit disheartening. Same could be said about us in a similar situation though.

I'm not gonna lie, I dozed off and missed a lot of the 2nd half. I see JJ did as well.

Activity is usually a bit higher, and typically is lower on the early/east coast games though.

Tsk tsk tsk.. Falling asleep during a game. So much for being a loyal fan. Shame on you both. :wavefinger:

^^ I knoooow, never in my career as a fan would I ever dream of falling asleep during a game...but this season is different. And losing by double digits to the second worst team in the NBA, albeit on the road doesn't bode well for my incentives to stay awake...plus, I was still recovering from the weekend! But it's a sad day when even Ralph & Mike are lackluster in their performance.
