It's not closed yet, but we do need some player changes or it will be.

My vision is Maggette playing SG for Dallas. Question to Clippers fans - could Maggette play SG or is his game more suited to SF?

Maggette can play both SF and SG. He doesn't really guard people on the perimeter but he is a strong rebounder. No real passing ability either.

So I guess my answer is: he's a better SF.

Thx for the reply.

I think it's probably unlikely anyway, because Dallas would most likely be wanting to swap Terry for Maggette, and I don't know that the Clippers would bite on that deal. There's been some talk of Howard for Marion, and I'm pretty sure that Dallas would prefer that over Howard for Maggette.

Would the Clipps do Terry and a high 2nd (another team's) pick for Maggette?

Josh Howard/Jason Terry

for:

Maggette/Mobley/#6 2008/#1 in 09/10

A bit much from the Clippers side. Due to Corey having a player option this trade can't become a reality. No problem, just sub the 6th pick for a future first with limited protection (top 2) and include a future 2nd.

If Maggette does end up opting out, is there any renewed interest in a deal with Jason Terry?
