Although Josh Howard is a very good talent, I don't think the Clippers would make that type of deal since Thornton should start next year at SF and it doesn't address the Clipper weakness at the guard position.

We've always thought that he could fill a hole at the SG position when it was needed, but they never tried him there. He's still young enough to where it's not a major setback. I know Thorton is the prize for you, so they could try Josh at the SG and still keep Thorton at the SF.
