The wing we need?

Post#1 » by Hype97 » Sun Jul 6, 2008 8:13 pm

Hmm, I wonder if we could somehow make a move to land Gerald Wallace? I remember reading a few days ago(?) that MJ wanted to deal him this summer.

He's that shut down guy we need without the mental case. I also think he would be an ideal running mate for Baron. I'd put Gerald in my top 5 for catching lobs. Not to mention he still has some good years ahead of him.

Did I mention Gerald is one of my favorite players in the league? haha, but honestly all homerism aside I think he would be a good fit and if hes available we should definitely make a run at him.

I would be interested, but I'm concerned with his injury problems.

I love Wallace's game, and he'd be a great addition to the team. The only problem would be the quality of talent we would have to give up. Is Thornton worth it?

I respect G-Dub's game but we already have a serviceable wing in Thornton. I say we go after a solid backup for AL and the few players that come to mind are Mo' Evans, James Jones, Kelenna Azubuike and Bonzi Wells.

^ I like those choices MJ :)
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

If MJ wants to trade him he must be good. We should be all over this. There is only one worse executive than MJ in the history of the NBA, Isiah.

What on earth was Bob Johnson thinking when he hired this clown after the debacle in Washington. Does he really think a highly visible executive can put people in the seats. I have a good friend who worked for many years for the Bobcats who says that the franchise is a mess and has been unable to develop any real long-term fan support. Are the Bobcats the next NBA team to move?
