OT: Go After Andres Biendrins/Josh Smith & J.R. Smith

Those are the two FA I would target.

Slide Kaman over to the 4 if you target Biendrins or keep him at center if you target Josh Smith. ATL doesn't want to go over $11mil on Smith. If your team renounced some more Free Agents then I would assume you're at least $15mil under the cap if not more.

Go after Biendrins first since the Warriors offered Magz that much money. The Warriors still have to sign Monta and Kelenna. They don't have the money to retain them all

You could also trade with Warriors for Al Harrington since you're under the cap, salaries don't have to match. Not sure how willing they would be to make a deal.

I would love to land Biendrins. I think Biendrins would be the one to play PF if he and Kaman were teammates.

Biendrins has no kind of power forward game. Kaman has great work on the block. I would push hard for him, seriously.

Both Biedrins and Josh Smith are restricted free agents, unless the Clippers overpay for them they aren't going to come here.

I say forget these two bums and go get James Singleton to run alongside B. Diddy...let's blow the roof off Staples. We got nothing to lose now.

Yes please! I would love to get Singleton back. He was one of my favorites back then.. Seeing him get some minutes to play would actually make me a little happier to watch Clipper games after all this crap.

^

If we could somehow land a package of Okafor (S&T) and Wallace from Charlotte for a package including Kaman, we could be a small Run-'N-Gun team (I'm dreaming though :D)

A Baron/Gordon/Thornton/Wallace/Okafor five doesn't sound too bad.

Both teams would be scared of a $10-12mill offer for them. I would go after Biendrins first and get him to sign an offer sheet to tie up the Warriors cap space for a few days and then go after J.R. Smith. You should be able to after both of them at the same time. Your cap is approximately $29mil and the estimated projected cap space is believed to reach $59mil. That's $30mil Free not sure about other cap holds such as draft picks and other Free agents. Baron's first yr salary should be approximately $12mil at his verbal agreed deal. So that's approximately $18mil Free minus I would assume approximately another $3mil in cap holds on Gordon and Jordan, that's $15mil Free Space Offer Biedrins the same deal Maggette received 5yr/$50mil first yr starting salary around $9mil and offer J.R. Smith a 5yr/$40mil deal first yr starting salary around $7mil.

If you can try and trade Mobley to free up more cap space because you may be able to target a different player(s) instead.

Another option would be Emeka Okafor, he's definitely a center.

^ Jumpin' James...and possibly Darius Miles...would pretty much be manna from heaven dropping on Clipper Nation after all this.

Armageddon is near.

Biendrins and Josh could work. I def. don't want to wait til next year's free agent market. I'm tired of going through these terrible losing seasons only to find out that its gonna be more of the same next year.

The vindictive thing would be to focus on Monta Ellis first because of his cap hold (Biedrins has a 10M cap hold), that finishes GSW shopping right there if they match. #2 target would be Iguodala. If matched go on to Biedrins. If he is matched too you pushed those teams toward the luxury tax.

The Clippers wouldn't offer 10-12 million to a restricted FA like Biedrins, he or Kaman would have to switch positions since they both primarily play C. Okafor is another RFA, Charlotte will match any offer since they have no other low post defender. J.R. Smith is a shooting guard, the Clippers probably wouldn't be interested in signing him after drafting Eric Gordon and they are still paying Mobley big bucks in the last 2 years of his contract.
