NY and LAC

Here is a good deal for both clubs

Zach Randolph and Renaldo Balkman +3mm in cash

for Tim Thomas Cutino Mobley and the rights to Jordan

We will release both players and they can come back to you within 30 days so you can keep your cap space open to acquire more players. We can also throw in Jamal Crawford for nothing to sweeten the pot if there is nothing out there you can acquire that you like better--if not no big deal. If not its like getting Zach Randolph for 2 years Scot free for pick 34 and 3mm in cash.

I think a better deal for the Clips would be:

Eddy Curry, Jamal Crawford and 3mm in cash
for
Tim Thomas, Cuttino Mobley, and rights to Jordan

The Knicks get to 2 shorter deals for the 2010 Big Woo while the Clippers get Jamal Crawford to start at the 2 in place of the declining Mobley while Eric Gordon seasons (he'll still get good PT) and Eddy Curry slides in at PF providing low post offense. Curry's rebounding and defensive deficiencies get hidden playing next to Kaman and his deal is much more tolerable than Randolph. Clips would still have about 10M in cap room to try to land additional assets. If you wish to throw in Balkman, you can but I see sticking with Q. Ross as defensive stopper off the bench.
